Experienced tutor for both children and adults.
I have been teaching for over 30 years with most pupils starting from absolute beginners and all age groups. Lessons and books are tailored to each students musical preference. Parents welcome to attend lessons.

Free music tuition books, theory books and arrangements.
Over the years I have produced many arrangements of music requested by my students. I now have hundreds of arrangements, studies and compositions from all styles of music available free to my students. These can be downloaded from the student area, or I can print them for you.

For pleasure or Associated Board examinations.
Music lessons are all arranged on a one to one basis. Learn how to read music notation and how to create your own arrangements. All styles of music can be introduced depending on your interest. Students can work towards classical examinations from grades 1 to 8, or just for fun without examination.

Music theory.
In order to continue past grade 5 Associated Board piano examinations, it is necessary to have passed the grade 5 theory examination.
This is not difficult if you work towards it gradually, and a few minutes of theory tuition at the end of each lesson will make it a breeze. It is also useful for your general music understanding.
Computer Music Recording
A knowledge of music theory can be a great help when learning studio recording using software programs such as Cubase. These programs can be used during practical and theoretical tuition if students are interested in computer music.

Creative learning.
A knowledge of chords, chord progressions and how to read chord symbols is a great introduction to producing your own music and arrangements. Using my own book 'All About Chords' I can show you how to get creative!
